I've stared at this for the better part of a couple days and here's where I'm at:

So basically I'm leaning towards Mel or Ed (possibly an older Ed who is less of a total moron?), but I'm not sure who to throw them at. Obviously Ed plays well off of mage-types, but he's fluff-headed, and Meliora is just a mess. But yeah, I'm up for anything with one of the two.
