She wasn't really paying much attention, didn't usually even bother trying to stop Marisa on her way out, after all, so she'd just slipped by, Meiling explained. As angry as Sakuya was, she was at least in no mood to take it out on the gate guard, apparently, which left her hurried and somewhat lame excuse sufficient.
Lucky for Marisa, Sakuya didn't really know the gardens as well as Meiling did, so shoving her in a shed was actually enough.
