This is some kind of place between places. A land where anyone can meet anyone else, and friendships can form between people who would never have reason to meet each other.

At the moment, it's the resting place for the Laughing Toadstool, the bar that Iren owns and runs. Don't think about it too hard.

The place is closed for business tonight, as a more private gathering is occurring. At Iren's urging, the furniture has arranged itself into a rough circle of seating. In the center of the seating area is a snack table covered with various bits of finger food which Iren, being the priestess of the god of hospitality, spent all day making herself. It's all delicious. There is also an open bar for those who want a drink, alcoholic or otherwise. The seats are an eclectic collection of couches and stools and chairs and cushions and blankets. The whole setup is really very cozy and intimate.

A chalkboard has been propped up along the edge of the seating area, on which the rules of the game have been written:

STRIP NEVER HAVE I EVER
1: Each of us take turns listing something we have never done with the phrasing "Never Have I Ever _____".
2: If someone lists something they have never done and you HAVE done it, you must take off an article of clothing.
3: Socks, shoes, earrings, and other items that come in pairs must be taken off in pairs. No taking off one sock at a time.
4: We keep playing until everyone is naked (or we get bored).
5: Don't feel limited to only taking one turn, if things feel like they're slowing down too much.
6: There are a few spare beds upstairs, should anyone need them, for whatever reason. =)

No one who is invited to this gathering is a stranger to everyone else (If nothing else, feel free to assume you have met Iren before.). No one was forced to come against their will. Everyone was aware that this would involve naked people. Everyone invited is an adult. Iren prides herself as a hostess, and has gone to great efforts to ensure that only people who are actually interested in such an event were invited.

IN SHORT: Let's learn a little thing or two about each other while getting sexy in here.

Magic interdimensional inn and the main attraction is a get-naked party game? So much cooler than the last magic interdimensional building I was in.

Anyway, never have I ever been swimming. Like, for fun, I'm not counting getting dumped in the ocean.

[Anand is wearing: Shoes (rather chunky boots), socks, casual pants, a belt with a large number of pockets built into it, panties, a choker, a tank top, and a sports bra. She's also sporting a rather large pair of raven wings growing out of her shoulder blades which is why the last two might be coming off last. It's a bit of a process.]

Grew up near the ocean. Most people learned to swim, just out of practicality, and then on a really hot day it was an excellent way to cool down.

[After considering her options for a moment, Iren took off her skirt. She had a petticoat on under it, so by modern standards she was still perfectly decent.]

[Ah, the layered skirt. A classic of high agility combat...although this girl's probably wearing it for normal reasons.]

All the athletics in the family went to my oldest sister. I should probably ask her if she ever figured out how to swim with these wings.

The wings do seem like they’d be an added challenge. They’re quite fetching, for what it’s worth.

Well thank you. I'm quite fond of them, inconveniences aside. I can fly with them, too, it just takes some magical oomph to do more than glide.

You've never even splashed around in a lake? Nothing like that?

I don't have the waterproof kind of feathers, so it's kind of a pain. I'm more of a sit on the beach and look pretty kind of girl.

Heh. I've noticed that a few times. I guess you don't have the same problem with yours?

They're nothing but good to me.

I can't say they make for gainly swimming, but they don't complain of it either.

[ Right. Clothes. His are made with the wings in mind; his top is basically an apron, just unties and comes off the front. ]

So you've been dumped in the ocean, but never swam for recreation?

[ She says this incredulously, but yet she isn't stripping either. ]

I wound up in a profession where I fight things, and some of those things were in the ocean. Kinda sucked with the feathers.

Do they allow women into the military where you're from? [ She seems genuinely surprised by that. ]

Yep. And Hunters, too, which aren't exactly the same thing, but end up in a lot of similar fights. I don't think it was always that way, but most of the strongest Hunters I know are actually Huntresses.

[ She doesn't necessarily doubt that women could become strong soldiers, if that's what they trained their lives for. More just that they would be allowed to train for it at all. ]

That's... crazy. I can't imagine the upheaval if women were allowed to join the military in my country.

Even been surfing before. Though it gets a little weird now with the curse I've got.

You know how ducks have special waterproof feathers that stop them getting dragged down by the weight of their wings absorbing water? I don't. Honestly I was also going to go with skiing for hard-to-wear-a-jacket reasons but I figure a lot fewer people have done that.

And what kind of curse? I've seen a few weird ones, but I don't know if any of them affected surfing.

[As far as a person having wings makes sense to Ranma. There were only certain birds, like ducks, that could swim.]

It still feels a little embarrassing to say even though I've gotten better about not seeing it as a bad thing, but if I get splashed with cold water, my body transforms into a girl's body.

I'm not as negative about it as I used to be, but I still call it a curse since I can't control it.

Hhhhuh. Interesting. That must have been pretty distressing. Or enlightening, I guess, I've never met anyone who just does that with magic.

...also, and this is my paranoia noticing all the pitchers of drinks around, but what's your pronoun situation if that happens? I don't want to accidentally pile anything on you.

Caught a sea monster this big the second time around, though.
