Meiling had an inkling that Sakuya's patience with Marisa was rapidly thinning, but she wasn't alert enough to stop the witch from her usual intrusion - there really was no such thing as alert enough with her anyways. There were times where she wasn't even asleep and would just pass it off that way because she wasn't in the mood to lose again when Marisa's visits were, on the whole, the only reason Patchouli interacted with more than two people on a daily basis.

Anyways, she was the most exciting thing that happened most days. She didn't even think Sakuya typically felt more than modest frustration towards Marisa, except for today, where she might legitimately seriously harm or even kill the witch, as frustrated as she was, and that... that was bad.
