It definitely could be. Although Yuri may insist it is not necessarily religious, in her mindset of "everything magical or otherwise still has a rhyme and reason and science to it, and this obviously happened if what I am drawing power from exists." Which might be a weird mindset to have but I can't see any given Yuri not having that or something similar.
