As for previewin' stuff... well, outta game there's a whole wiki, and in here you can always browse around your class's skill trees and see the options ya haven't unlocked yet, or look around the game market for equipment ya haven't found yourself. Make sure ya set that to filter to stuff your class can wear. 'Course some gear's got secret effects or randomized stats, so sometimes ya just gotta try stuff on to find out everything it does.
