Iren the world hopping innkeeper

Last night, this was an empty lot. Today there's a building here.
Other than it's inexplicable presence here, it doesn't seem that exceptional. It's an inn of some kind, apparently. The Laughing Toadstool, according to the sign over the door. Three stories tall, with a greenhouse on the roof.
Why is there an inn here today where yesterday there was nothing? Well, you could go in and ask.

The inside of the Laughing Toadstool is decorated with a vaguely 19th century European aesthetic. Gaslights, cast iron wall fixings, and wooden walls. It's delightfully cozy looking, and there are WONDERFUL smells coming from the kitchen.
There's something faintly odd about the staff. Some of them seems to have feathers or fur that vanishes whenever you lean closer to double check.
Before you can press TOO closely the owner appears, and she looks to be entirely human.
"Welcome, welcome! What can I get you? A room for the night? Dinner? Something to drink? We've got a fresh batch of mead that needs drinking!"

There's just a little bit too much that's weird about this inn, so you decided to do some snooping at night. On the third floor is Iren's office, her personal rooms, and a third door that has several locks on it as well as a ton of strange symbols etched into the door frame.
The moment anyone such as yourself so much as LOOKS at that door, Iren just kind of Is There. When I said she "appeared" in prompt 2, I meant that she walked up to you like a normal person. When I say "appeared" now, I mean that she was not there and suddenly she was.
"Lost? Rooms for guests are downstairs."
