In comparison...Ippo very much was! He'd never had much of an opportunity or time to try such things until now...which was of his own doing, but here he was. He was a little awkward in his reciprocation, but to his credit, he was fast learner.

At best, he could follow along with the cues and hints Samata was providing...at worst, he could count on her to guide him. He wasn't ashamed to be taught and it was about time he learned! Most importantly, he reminded himself to enjoy the experience...because what else was the point, right?

He even showed a little initiative of his own in pulling her closer in response to being kissed...it just felt right to him.
